Read both ends of the tape.

The tape rarely starts at zero. Each annotation keeps the two endpoint readings and their difference. Green lines are approximate tape readings; ochre dashed lines are photo-derived estimates. Label and overview shots without a readable tape are marked as such. Early and later captures of the same setup are retained, not counted as independent evidence.
